The Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Studies of Materials (LEPCM) and the Faculty of Matter Science of Batna 1 University organize the 6th<\/sup> International Conference on the World of Technology and Advanced Materials \u201cWITAM\u201923\u201d in Batna (Algeria) on 23 and 24 October 2023 after having organized the previous editions alternatively in Batna (2015, 2017 and 2019) and K\u0131r\u015fehir in Turkey (2016 and 2018)<\/p>\n

This Conference is a forum where Algerian and foreign researchers meet, know each other, make known to young researchers their fields of research, present their work, and weave or consolidate the relations of cooperation between their different research structures (groups, laboratories, units, centers …of research) and discuss research perspectives<\/p>\n

A Workshop on the Quantum ESPRESSO code will be organized on October 25 and 26, 2023<\/p>\n

The objective of this workshop is to introduce young researchers to ab-initio calculation methods with the Quantum ESPRESSO code. In this workshop, all the details of this software will be explained with various examples<\/p>\n
